UvilApp™ · last updated 29 August 2026

UvilApp connects a customer to a Professional. To do that, some of what you enter is shown to the other person — that is the whole point of the app, and this page says plainly which parts.

The short version. Your telephone number is given to the Professional you contact, so they can call you back. A Professional's name, photographs and prices are published to the people who hold their code. We do not sell anything to anyone, and there is no advertising in this app.

What we collect, and who sees it

WhatWhyWho sees it
Telephone number Signing in, and so the other party can ring you The Professional you contact
Your name So a request is not anonymous The Professional you contact
What you type in a request It is the request The Professional you send it to
The items you tick So the Professional knows what you want The Professional you send it to
Zip codes you enter To reach Professionals working in that area Professionals in those zip codes
A Professional's business name, logo, item photographs, item names and prices It is the shop window Anyone using the app who holds that code

We do not collect your location from your device. UvilApp never asks for location permission and none is declared in the app. A zip code is something you type, and only if you choose to.

What we do not do

Payments

UvilApp is free to use. Nothing is bought or sold through this app. A Professional shows prices so you know what things cost; what you actually agree, and how you pay for it, is between the two of you and UvilApp is not a party to it.

If you choose to support the app itself, that goes through Google Play Billing in the Android app, or through Stripe on this website. In both cases the payment processor handles your card — we never see or store card details.

Where it is kept

On Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage and Authentication). Everything travels over an encrypted connection. Photographs a Professional publishes are readable by anyone holding the link, because they are a shop window; the storage rules deliberately forbid listing or browsing the bucket, so nobody can walk through other people's files.

Children

UvilApp is not intended for children. Signing in requires a mobile telephone number that can receive a text message.

Your choices

One honest limit. Once a request has been sent, the Professional has their own copy, including your telephone number. Deleting your account removes it from ours. It cannot reach into a message somebody has already received — no app can do that.
